A10 hires veteran lender Jardine to head up expansion push

Jardine, based in Dallas, joins the firm from Deutsche Bank, where he was a director and senior loan originator.

A10 Capital, a Boise-based commercial real estate lender which originates and underwrites permanent and bridge loans nationally, this week hired veteran lender John Jardine as an executive vice president of originations.

Jardine, based in Dallas, joins the firm from Deutsche Bank, where he was a director and senior loan originator. He also was a special servicing asset manager for C-III Asset Management and filled senior roles at a number of banks and other lenders.

He will use his depth of relationships to help the firm expand its platform. “His experience and knowledge in real estate financing and asset management will provide us more outreach and market knowledge to help us grow and better serve our clients,” said Jerry Dunn, co-founder and president of A10 Capital.

The hires come a few years after a 2018 investment from Schroders, which allowed the company to add a permanent loan program with life insurance type rates and terms. The firm services its loans in-house for their entire term.
